My stay in Nepal is coming to an end - I will tale my flight home on Wednesday next week.
My third week here has been particularly busy with official meetings, lectures and some other stuff (see my picture report below).
Why am I postingt that stuff here? --- Well, it is to demonstrate what linguists can do in a developing nation like Nepal and what Linguistics is good for in practice, not only with regard to ESL.
Now, it's time that SB jumps on the back of Sister Fifi's mototbike and takes a ride to Nepal to make women happy here and help in language planning of the Dhimal language community here. With his degree in Applied Linguistics he is particularly qualified for this job!....hehehehe
