Well in a fortnight it'll be 6 months since I came unstuck in China. At last, while a week, I've started jogging, albeit wearing my trekking boots for lack of more appropriate footwear. Tomorrow I should receive my £15 running shoes. I have entered a half marathon fun run for Christmas time. I shan't do a marathon until next year.

When I arrived back in England we used to have to walk downhill to town and get a taxi on return.

Don't forget, a bowl of noodles will do you more good than a steak, and if you're more than 32" around the waste start saving up for your funeral, just in case.
