El Limonar International School is a private fee-paying bilingual school founded in 1990 and governed by a permanent Board of Directors. The School is accredited by the Middle States Association and by the Spanish Ministry of Education. The student population is comprised of over 15 nationalities including, English, German, Japanese, French, American and Russian pupils although the majority are Spanish.

The School provides a bilingual education for children of 6 to 18 years old, the languages of instruction being English and Spanish.

El Limonar International School has 3 separate sites in the regions of Murcia and Alicante:
- ELIS is the main site located on the outskirts of Murcia with easy access from the A7 motorway. It has been purpose built to house all the Primary and Secondary levels (pupils aged 6 – 16). The School is set in 63.000 m2 grounds with 9 tennis courts, a 25m swimming pool, multipurpose sports fields, a gymnasium, riding stables and playground.
- El Limonar Infant School La Alberca is situated 5km away from Murcia surrounded by hills and the Sierra which separates Murcia from the coast. The Infant School grounds are 2000m2 and boast plentiful trees and gardens. All Infant levels are catered for here (pupils from 3 – 5 years).
- El Limonar International School Villamartín is located near the coastal town of Villamartín (Alicante) some 60km from Murcia. Villamartín caters for pupils Infant, Primary and Secondary aged 3 – 14 years.
