English schools in Europe
The American School of Madrid (ASM) is a private, independent, not-for-profit co-educational day school for children in grades pre-k (age 3) through 12 (age 17/18).
Currently, the school enrolls approximately 800 students from over 50 countries around the world.
Founded in 1961, the school aims to provide students with an outstanding college-preparatory education. Today, ASM offers the U.S. high school curriculum, the International Baccalaureate and the official Spanish program. The vast majority of our students are granted admission into the college of their choice, be it in the United States, Spain, or elsewhere in the world.
ASM is accredited by:
the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges, the Spanish Ministry of Education and the International Baccalaureate Organization.
We are affiliated with the European Council of International Schools (ECIS), the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Mediterranean Association of International Schools (MAIS).
