There's a multitude of ways in which you can experience the magic of Croatia. This beautiful heaven on Earth, has more than 1000 islands, and presents a 'dream come true' for every tourist. While exploring the hidden gems of this country, you'll be able to find something for everybody. Here are the top 5 things you should do while staying in Croatia and experience the kind of memories you'll cherish forever!

Natural attractions

Croatia is a country with amazing cultural and historical heritage. Several locations that were discovered back in the Stone age, are widespread througout the country. There are also numerous caves in which you can find hand made items created by people who lived there ages ago. In most cities you'll be able to see typical Croatian architecture that will leave you stunned. One of the most famous attractions was and always will be the National Park Plitvice Lakes, which makes tourist from all over the world come to Croatia to see it in real life.

Culinary delights

Croatian food provides a combination of Italian and Mediterranean flavors. One of the best dishes from this country is "Mjesano meso". (The mixed grilled meat). There are plenty of restaurants in which you'll have a wide offer of traditional dishes that will leave you craving for more. And it's nice to know that the food is pretty much cheap, so you'll get a high quality meal without having to spend a lot of money.

Sailing

Another way to experience Croatia is to spend a week on a boat enjoying the turquoise waters of the Adriatic sea while discovering thousands of Croatian islands. Spending time by the sea is the ideal idea of a vacation. Sailing is a great way to combine seeing both sea and the land and exploring the perks of Croatian islands. Explore hidden places and enjoy in all of the summer nights and days spent on some of the most amazing boats. Some of the nicest islands in Croatia are: Hvar, Brac, Mljet (in the South Dalmatia).
