Travel, Teach, Live in Europe and Middle East
I am also an American teacher who wants to find a job
in Europe but has been finding the same obstacles since I began looking five years ago.
The answer is simple, yet, complicated.
A. Find a husband from that country that you are
interested in teaching in.
( As I don't really have any luck in this dept. and as I will probably marry for love, this is out of the question).
B. Obviously, if either one of your parents has an EU
passport or if you were born there, then it's easy..
(For thos of us who are American citizens, this does not apply).
C. Hope to find a super, SUPER, desperate employer
who needs to hire RIGHT NOW....(That has been the case for me in the U.S. Though, not in Europe).
D. Work as hard as you can here in the U.S. and save up as much as you can so that when you feel that you have enough, then, go move to Europe....
(As depressing as it sounds, it seems to be The Masterplan for those of us who hold that burning flame within us to find a job in Europe)...Well, then there is the Lotto.....
Good luck everybody!
