The Czech_Republic Becomes A Country Of Imposing And Expensive Hotels
By:Iuri Tarabanov

Cheap 3-stars class hotels are disappearing step-by-step from the Czech's Republic market. According to the opinion of the analysts from the Czech Tourist Agents’ Association, the reason is the tourists' increasing demand for the living conditions.

As statistics witnesses, there were 7211 cheap hotels, boards, camping for tourist and boarding houses for students registered in Czech Republic in 2003. Only 6795 left till last year and that is 416 less than it was. Cheap hotels also show the lowest level of occupation of 31.4% that is very close to the limit of the profitability.

Though the number of the 4 and 5 star level hotel increases constantly. In the year 2003 there were 21 5-star hotel and 219 4-star hotels, today the number is 35 and 274 hotels correspondingly, the absolute majority of 5-star level hotels are in Prague. In 2006 the most expensive hotels were loaded on the average to 52.6%, the 4-star level hotels were loaded to 49.8%.

The prices in such hotels usually start with 4000 crowns (about 200 dollars) per day. Czechs themselves do not deprive of attention the 5 star level hotels; their number for the last year was 43513 people, this fact showing that the level of life of the citizens meliorated.

Thus more than 10% of 6.4 billions of foreign tourists that came to Czech Republic preferred 5-star level hotels. This is 10% more than in 2005, the demand for 4-stars level hotels also increased, at the time when 3-star and less level hotels registered a recession of half of percentage.

Most of all Britons (108598 people) and Americans (108123) preferred to put up at the 5 star level hotels in Czech Republic. Germans, that come to Czech Republic very often, were appeared to be just on the third place - they usually stay somewhere in province where it's hard to find hotels of 5-stars level.

Following Germans are Italians, Japanese, French, and the list is closed by Russians.
