Paris - World Top Destination For All Tastes And Budgets (France)
By:Laurent Fabier

Paris wears its mark as the world’s most romantic city with nonchalance, stimulating the senses, demanding to be seen, heard, touched, tasted and smelt.
More densely populated than Manhattan, with two million occupying its compact city centre, Paris has been known for years as the world’s hotel capital with an extremely rich offer of over 2000 places where you can stay. There are splendid palaces that symbolize French-style stylishness, combining elegance with coziness and impeccable staff. In the fashionable districts, four or five star hotels cater for the needs of the most demanding clients and are also ideal for the business traveler.

Paris luxury hotels- a heaven for big spenders
If you're going to visit the luscious city and you have the means, you might as well do it in true style. In the picturesque Montmartre and Marais areas, and on the Ile de la Cite, the hotels are particularly charming.
Take for instance the Victoria Palace, a delicately-appointed oasis in the city's hip Montparnasse neighborhood. The four-star hotel has several nice touches such as the weather report delivered nightly to your room. The rooms are rather large, but it's the little things and the outstanding service that make visitors feel like royalty.
The hotel has no restaurant, but if you are in for a wonderful breakfast, the full buffet breakfast will be a more than satisfactory French treat.
Another luxury hotel you should not miss is Lutetia Hotel, famous for the comfort of its rooms and the gentleness of its staff, but most of all for its dining places and brasseries. For instance, the very Parisian Brasserie Lutetia is the favorite meeting place of the Left Bank clientele who like to share a typical French gastronomy between friends. Its specialties include an impressive seafood display and its traditional dishes. Menus are creative, inspired and elegantly presented, encouraging diners to be adventurous and try something new. Simple but distinctly French treats such as Oeufs en Cocotte à l’Estragon and Homard Persille, desserts including Tarte Tatin and Pains au Chocolat and the extraordinary choice of cheeses are among the viciously alluring treats

Charming places for budget travelers
Paris is indeed one of the world's most expensive cities, but also one of the top tourist attractions. If you would rather conserve your cash and go for discount online hotel booking, the offer is still varied. Take for instance Hotel Rive Gauche, placed near the hip St. Germain neighborhood. The rooms are cozy and atmospheric. It is situated a short distance from the Louvre and the d'Orsay museums, a great choice for art lovers. For prices ranging between € 45 and 60 you may choose from a wide range of ideally located hotels with quiet, bright and cozy rooms with efficient and attentive staff ( some of the best choices would be Hotel Delos Vaugirard, Hotel Clarisse, or Hotel Kyriad Brancion Paris Expo, find more on www.planigo.com) These are also ideal for any family vacation package choice, as most of the online agencies will be glad to offer you such facilities.

The lovers’ favorite destination
The city of romance is most of all a tremendously popular destination for couples, lovers and honeymooners, as it is filled with cozy, intimate romantic hotels and accommodations. If you are a couple on a budget, but you still want the romance of Paris, you should go to Hotel Britannique, a fabulously cheap hotel. The rooms are small, but intimate. It has probably one of the most central locations in all of Paris, though, a block from the Seine and in the first arrondissement. And the staff will be more then willing to welcome you and bring breakfast in room.
Another favorite place for a couple is Hotel Claridge Bellman, just across the Champs Elysees. In here, you can experience the true French joie de vivre and exquisite style of French hotels, with unforgettable little touches that will make any couple feel wonderful. A particularity of the place is the Claridge Honesty Bar, where you can serve yourself and leave a note stating what you took. Guests also have the option to choose which period-decorated room they want.
For centuries people have come to the City of Lights to be enlightened, seduced and indulged and today, the same as everyday, its appeal only ever increases.
