CEDU Plus, which is a middle-school English brand of CEDU, is looking for experienced and competent freelance English contents writers and proofreaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a native speaker of English
- B.A. in English Literature, Linguistics, Creative Writing, or another related field preferred
- Teaching experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
- Must reside in Korea or have relevant work visas

*DUTIES
Writing - write various middle-school contents; The difficulty level of Korean middle school English is equivalent to that of 3rd or 4th graders of American primary school. You have to make ‘easy’ and ‘appropriate’ English passages and sentences which can sometimes be unauthentic. We can provide you with source materials and word list for the writing, but sometimes you have to search the Internet or use your imagination to make the material.
Proofreading - check content for errors, grade/level appropriateness and overall quality

You will have some tests via email. If you pass the test, you can work as a freelance writer and all the work will be done via email. It’s possible you visit the company before you start working to make sure both parties understand the nature of the work well. The payment can be hourly or lump-sum depending on the nature of the project.
