My academic excellence includes achieving 4 distinctions at the end of my Matric year. As well as, having maintained the top ten average in my grade, from grade 8 to grade 12. I have also been awarded my gold colours in Dance Studies for having an average of over 80% in grades 10 and 11.

In 2011, I was awarded the prestigious ATKV Award; The Multilingual Award for distinctions in Afrikaans and French and the Joy-Cooper Award for perseverance and dedication in Dance Studies. I also received the Honorary Finesse Award for being the best-rounded female student (Valedictorian) in Pro Arte Alphen Park’s Class of 2011.

ABOUT ME:
I enjoy working with young learners. I have a passion for teaching students and helping them develop new language skills. I enjoy assisting students with grammar and have a remarkable knowledge on the subject of grammar. I like to make learning an exciting experience for the children in order to help learners grasp a sound knowledge of the English language.

I like to complete what I’ve started and am a well-motivated and hard-working teacher. I value integrity and genuinely care about the quality of my work, always striving to exert my full potential, be it individually or as a team. I persevere in all I do and am known to be a friendly and diligent individual. I value punctuality and I am a quick-learner. I enjoy dancing, reading, listening to music, baking and going to the theatre. Socializing and volunteer work are a few of my pass times during the school holidays.
