“Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”

This is my all time favourite quotation, it is by Bruce Lee. It's relevance in this case is important as it gives a good explanation of how I go about my daily activity and how I live my life, therefore giving the best possible idea of my true personal profile.

To me being “like water” simply means being adaptable in every situation and not holding onto any set pattern but adjusting to my environment when I am called to. Being free flowing and free moving with the current, efficiently and effortlessly. Being conscious and decisive in the present, rather than robotic and repetitive. I find this has benefitted me in my past employment as it has allowed me to stay in the moment, get the best out of each situation I am in and has helped me adjust into a smooth transition with any new task allocation set.

I also practise transcendental meditation, which has been proven to lower stress and clear any mind clutter, making me feel refreshed before every new working day. I believe this is also key to me keeping a healthy fast paced task conquering mind, similar to clearing the clutter out of a computer to gain optimum efficiency. Every morning I make sure yesterday has been left behind.

My name is Mario Papadopoulos, I was born in London, United Kingdom and have recently acquired a BA(Hons) Degree in Economics. English is my first and strongest language and I would love to teach it in China. I love the Chinese culture and would love to come and teach their. I want to work in Hubei in particular because after I am done I would like to train in the art of Tai Chi at Wudang Mountain.

You would be making my dreams come try by accepting my application and in return I would do all I could to be the best teacher I can be.
