I am applying for the position of English Teacher. Specifically, I am seeking to better utilize my experience mentoring children, & my TEFL/TESOL Certificate.

My B.S. in Finance from the University of New Orleans includes, Economics, Statistics, Management and Accounting courses. My recent experience required expertise in sales training, creating FAQs, Windows systems, (Power User) Excel, Access, Power Point and Word for development of monthly reports. These reports were used by upper management for sales projections and budget analysis.

My background includes over 2 plus years of ESL teaching to immigrants and also consist of 14 years of aviation and marketing experience and sales training. As an ESL teacher, I evaluated students to measure skill progression and determine improvement areas. Other duties are listed below:

 Develop effective lesson plans for ESL classrooms.
 Incorporate technology in daily lessons.
 Initiate supportive learning activities for ESL students that aim at advancing their newly acquired L2 skills.
 Charted each student’s progress periodically by maintaining portfolios.
