• Handles most aspects of auto insurance claims, including coverage, investigation, liability determination, evaluation and negotiation of bodily injury claims, and litigation.
• Main focus on handling bodily injury claims resulting from low impact type accidents involving soft tissue injuries. Important in evaluating these claims is the use of Wrexpert, a biomechanical engineering program from Injury Sciences, which analyzes the accidents in terms of change in velocity(∆V), potential for injury(causation) and expected recovery times. Extensive litigation handling since 2005.
• Involved in the genesis, development, and completion of a program to batch common attorney files in order to gain rapport and effectively communicate standards of claims handling, leading to more prompt and effective settlements with the particular attorney. For the settled claims, the average amount of medical specials was $3,258.80 and the average settlement amount was $2,280.00.

• As Quality Assurance Consultant, was part of a team that worked with The Accenture Group to develop a program known as National Calibration, in which the entire claims force was brought in for training on becoming outcome-focused instead of process-focused in claims handling. Duties included program development, training the trainers, and training the claims handlers in individual classroom settings.
• Traveled to claims offices nationwide training adjusters in evaluation and negotiation of bodily injury claims, with an emphasis on the proper use of Colossus as an evaluation tool.
• Performed file audits at claims offices involving all aspects of claims handling. Followed up each audit with presentation, including outline of strengths and weaknesses of the offices, and ideas for improvement.
• As Claims Representative, handled all aspects of auto insurance claims, as well as general liability and homeowners liability claims. File handling included coverage investigations, liability investigations, property damage(homeowners and auto), bodily injury for direct and attorney represented claimants, including evaluation and negotiation of injury claims, as well as litigation. Files ranged from simple property damage claims to multiple fatalities.

• As Team Leader, responsible for training associates in all aspects of receiving, including inventory control, receipt of freight, freight claims, return of defective merchandise to vendors, ticketing, and preparing merchandise to be stocked in the store.
