I am a recent graduate of a TEFL program and am looking to pursue a teaching career with your facility. Although I am new to the market and have limited experience, I am hoping I can find a place within your company to further grow.

As mentioned, I am a new graduate and have very limited experience with teaching in a classroom. However, I do have qualities and skills that I feel would make me a very sucessful teacher.For over 10 years now, I have been working in the Fashion Retail Industry and have grown to various positions. I am very comfortable speaking infront of multiple people and feel very confident giving direction. I feel I have developed qualities that have enabled me to relay messages and communicate information very clearly.

As part of my certification with TEFL, I was required to complete a 20 hour practicum. This was completed at a school through the Toronto District School Board. There I was able to fully see how a classroom runs and how students learn. Throughout my time there, I worked with beginner, intermediate, and advanced level students. Classes ranged from conversational to grammar lessons. I was able to help support the students with any questions or difficulties they had with there worksheets and also deliver classroom instructions for completing activities.

Being hands on with the students was not only enjoyable but rewarding. When the students achieve there goals and progress even further that is the ultimate success. I am highly dedicated to ensuring that each individual continues to grow on their own learning path. I attain personal skills such as patience, enthusiam, and always having a positive attitude ; which all contribute to being a great role model for a teacher position.
