I am a dedicated and driven person. I believe passionately in inspiring students and developing students thirst for knowledge about the world whilst stimulating their interests in continuing academia and extra circular activities. I care about my students and always look to go the extra mile for those students that require one-on-one attention and extra development. I am a creator of interesting, imaginative and engaging Art, P.E and English language lessons. I am capable of passing professional and company exams by dedicating time in work and outside of work. I can bring excellent communication skills at all level because I have experience of speaking to a variety of people. Ambitious, pro-active and self motivated. My role initially was as a phonics English teacher for grades 2 and 3. My responsibilities as a phonics teacher were to teach 16 different classes per week in class sizes that average 34 students, to develop a program to teach phonics effectively and achieve results. To manage the classroom and classroom assistances, develop and find different learning games and develop my skills as a teacher. After 6 months I was promoted to the international class (IC).

As the English teacher for IC1 and IC2 my responsibilities are to teach the Longman ‘Welcome to English' syllabus effectively and achieve the highest results from all students in the class in a nurturing and aspiring environment. To teach effective oral English language skills, grammar and spelling.

Angels Day nursery
I volunteered as a nursery room assistant within the nursery, working 3 days a week, assisting the room leader in her daily duties and looked after the children. The children were aged between 4-5 and number 10 in a class.
Some of my duties included:-
Promote positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of the children
Support the children's development, learning and play
Help with the Christmas play, teach songs and play instruments.
Be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children

Leisure interests

It is important to me to use my time outside of work constructively. I keep myself physically and mentally active. I am passionate about environmental issues especially marine wildlife conservation. I have been a fully qualified diver for many. I enjoy taking part in group and team sports and activities such as badminton, football and golf. To relax I enjoy reading, bicycle riding, watching television, going to the cinema, going to restaurants with friends and cooking food for them at home.
