EMPLOYMENT:

MARCH 2013 – MARCH 2015 – ESL teacher at Baek’s Language School in Daegu, Korea.

MARCH 2009 – MARCH 2010 – ESL teacher with EPIC at an elementary school in Yeonggwang, Korea.

APRIL 2003 – MARCH 2008 – ESL professor at Nambu University. For the first year that I worked for this foundation, I taught college classes as well as middle school and high school classes. For the last four years I taught basic communicative English classes. (Up to 65 students in a class)

NOV 2000 – JAN 2003 – ESL teacher at English 2020 in Gwangju, Korea. During this time I was also hired by the Korean government to teach Korean English teachers how to use more English in the classroom. I also had a part time job recording my voice for teaching materials.

1992-1997 – Commissionaire at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Nova Scotia, Canada. I was responsible for the security of all personnel , property and information.

1990 – 1991 – Taxi driver for Yellow Cab in New Brunswick, Canada.

1984 – 1989 – Soldier with the Canadian Military in Canada. I inspected and repaired all types of military vehicles.

EDUCATION:

1997- 2000 – B.A. from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Major – Psycholoy Scholarships – 3

2000 – TEFL certificate from Atlantic Overseas Institute, Halifax, Canada. (This was a 120 hour course with practicum)
