My Middle East academic experience includes service in Yemen, Oman, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. I have been privileged to serve academically in Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Australia and Bangladesh. In China eight is a number which presages good fortune and I have travelled to China eight times to serve students of English.

Academically, my BA is in Politics and History; my MA is in Literary Studies; I am currently working on my PhD in Creative Writing.
