Work Experience

Freelance Writer
I used my degree to work for a variety of organizations such as TEI (Texas Entertainment Incentives) and with colleagues in Austin, Texas to create performances for stage. The successes and failures throughout the experience tempered me as a writer and prepared me for life outside of school.

Freelance Editor
I worked with INEXS and PEMEX to translate, edit, and prepare an extensive technical publication defining all of the sedimentary basins in Mexico. The translation work was challenging but satisfying, and enhanced my desire to expand my experiences beyond just writing.

Professional Storyteller
I spent much of my time after graduating college traveling around the USA working as a story teller and improv actor, improving my skills as an orator and stretching my vocabulary to come up with as many interesting stories for my audience as possible.
