My name is Siham Al-Ali, and for as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed helping others. My happiness is contingent on making others happy. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Psychology. I believe that communication is an important part of life. Psychology allows me to understand people’s motivations and be able to sympathize with them. My goal is to be able to bring knowledge of the English language to others who are pursuing that skill. As a single person with no dependents, I am able to go anywhere and stay for the amount of time I am needed. I do not mind tutoring on the side if the opportunity arises.

I believe that patience and passion makes a successful teacher. A person who cares about helping others and has the patience when students are struggling, will be more successful. My strategies are to make the classroom safe and comfortable for students, and not penalize them when they make mistakes. A teacher should come to class excited about teaching regardless of what is going on in her life, and she should leave her problems at home. My personal approach is to make all the students feel like a family. By creating a sense of unity, students will feel comfortable around their peers and even help one another out when someone makes a mistake. I make sure that everyone understands.
