Integrating my experiences as a teacher and educating learners in a positive environment and superior quality learning among students and be confident to build positive identities.
SKILLS
1. As a Toddler Teacher Assistant. Pre-school is a crucial period on child’s education. As a teacher, I must be knowledgeable in early childhood development and able to develop the personal, social and language skills of children and provide a safe and secure environment in which the child can learn. I must motivate and stimulate the children’s learning abilities and support the development of children’s basic skills, including physical coordination, speech and communication. Having the ability to excellent organisation skills, time management skills, class management skills and deal with challenging behaviour and ability to work well with children and parents can help children develop to their full potential and build positive identities.
2. As an English Education Teacher. Being able to teach diverse learners with each subject needs dedication and hard work. Flexibility is the key to help the learners learn and enjoy the subject. As a teacher, I must know my learners strengths and weaknesses, to have patience and a good sense of humour, and be able to come up with a positive environment for them to be motivated and learn.
3. As an ESL Teacher. I taught the different Macro-skills (Reading, Listening, Writing, Grammar, and Pronunciation in ESL to Korean students. From these experiences, I am knowledgeable enough to understand the diversity of learning, to constantly adapt to students’ attitudes and needs and able to adjust myself for teaching strategies that can help them learn easily.
