Jarad Botha is a fully qualified high school teacher, who hails from South Africa, but holds a UK passport stemming from his six year stay in England between 2001 and 2008. He graduated in 2014 from Nelson Mandela metropolitan University (NMMU), with a Bachelor of Education specializing in Life Sciences and Business Management. His first professional experience was at Eastcape Midlands College as a lecturer in 2014. He started working for the Eastern Cape Department of Education, being employed employed at Ryneveld Primary School, Graaff-Reinet where he taught English First Additional Language, Economic Management Sciences and Natural Sciences, between 1 January to 30th June. From 1st July 2015 to April 2017 he worked at Spandau Secondary school where he is presently employed and teaches Natural Sciences grade 9 and Life Sciences grade 11 and 12. He is currently the grade 10 and 11 Biology teacher at Beijing Huijia Private School, having started in April 2017. He is very passionate about sport and coaches’ rugby, cricket, soccer and cross country at his school. Jarad always strives to cater for different learning styles and backgrounds of pupils and would certainly be a great fit for any environment using his international experience.
