As a skilled teacher in a very competitive college program, I have a passion and enthusiasm for teaching English in a foreign country. I have taught music production in an excellent college for over ten years and have enjoyed the experience. I have experience teaching young adults and children in both individual and group settings. I possess a 3-year diploma in engineering and continue to educate myself with college credit courses. My objective is to educate students with a hunger to learn how to speak English, not only for the knowledge but also to enhance their employment opportunities. I enjoy foreign travel and have worked in twelve of the over forty countries I have been lucky to visit.

I believe that a successful teacher is one that is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. They should be very respectful of students and understanding of their culture. An outstanding teacher will be very resourceful and be able to adapt to changing classroom dynamics. I have had the fortunate experience of teaching music to students who went on to enjoy rewarding careers. I am well traveled and understand the challenges of learning a new language and am sensitive to students' needs and have accommodated them with respect, dignity, and encouragement. I believe it is more important to teach a student what they can do instead of what they can't do.

I have had the honour of working with some of the most talented musical artists all over the world. I have had to adjust my temperament to adjust to various challenging personalities. I have worked all hours of the day and at times, seven days a week. I've been able to encourage artists with low self-esteem to challenge themselves, helping them to find the confidence to rise to the occasion. Working with the famous singer Andrea Bocelli was rewarding considering the challenge of his blindness. It was fulfilling to encourage him to sing in English. I have also worked as a 'team member' on my city's task force as an advisor, creating strategies for young people to get involved in the local music scene.

Included in my application is my resume and cover letter, while reference letters from former students and my college student feedback surveys are available at your request. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. I believe I will make a great asset to your organization. Please feel free to contact me at any time.

Sincerely

Kevin Doyle
