Reason to Quit Your Job
By:Emma Wanjiku

Quitting a job is never an easy decision. However, others might disagree and say it is one of the easiest things to do. The truth is people quit their jobs all the time. You spend most of your time in life working and if you do not have the right environment that makes you happy and prosperous, then, you are hurting yourself. From experience, quitting a job can be one of the most rewarding decisions. But, there are those reasons that can be considered legitimate or right when it comes to throwing in the towel. Many quit because they are not up to the challenge and are lazy but the following are genuine reasons to tell your boss to keep his job.

The first reason is when you are unappreciated. You do not have to be a genius to figure this out. Some bosses will dedicate their time to ride on your back and take every opportunity to keep you in the mud. You do not have to take this nonsense and you can bail.

When you are being overworked to a point of compromising your physical and mental health, it is time to weigh what is important and say to hell with the job. No good job will keep you in the dumps where health is concerned. After all, you need to be in perfect health to contribute to something good in your workplace. The world is not going to end when you quit, you need to keep your well being first.

If there are signs to show that the company you work for is going down or loosing business, you will need to look out for yourself. Your benefits and promotion opportunities might be elusive and you do not want to stay all your life not progressing and facing the threat of being thrown out. You need to get off the ship before it sinks.

Another reason to quit is when you no longer find joy in your current work. Work needs to be done passionately and when this is gone, there is no satisfaction whatsoever that will come to you. Many will quit starting their own ventures and this is one of the most commendable things you can do in life. Another reason is when your company is engaging in questionable or unethical practices that leave a bad taste in your mouth. You do not have to be part of something you do not agree to and quitting is your best option.

You can quit your job when you can no longer get along with your bosses and colleagues. Many times, people will just choose to ignore the bad blood they have with bosses and as many discover, time will only make it worse. You will soon despise your boss and others and for your peace of mind, you might as well quit. When faced with changing life circumstances, you can quit. For example, when you have a baby, you can choose to raise your kids.
