Well, each person have a different reason. I started learning English since I was in 2nd grade, self-teaching. The reason i started was... Cartoons... I used to watch Bugs Bunny, but I always wonder, what is he saying? Then, after learnig some things about it it, I've learned it because i wanted to talk to many people from different countries. Now, I am learning Japanese, because i am very found of the japanese socialisitcs...
Right now, i teach English in an institute, Many reasons apeared to me. Some, because of work, or school, or just a way to improve one's self.
