Thanks, Doc. In the future, though, I'll make sure I teach ESL at only colleges or universities. I won't again teach ESL at any high school overseas. That goes for Thailand, Korea, China, wherever. The abilities and motivation levels of the students I've seen and heard of at high schools are simply too wildly variable. I might try teaching ESL to students in the USA at some point in the future. MIGHT, that is. More than likely I'll stick with young adults.
