Here is a tip to help you develop your students' writing skills:

I found that having students do daily Journal Writing is a good way to have them develop their writing styles. Journals can be used where students are given a topic and then asked to write several sentences or a short paragraph about the topic, or where students write about a topic, and then you respond to the students' journal entry, either on a daily or weekly basis. Using Journals helps students develop a love for writing and allows them to become better writers with a greater level of vocabulary, style, content and organizational skills.
