ESL Beginners -- k-2
By:Brett <dopey01@wi.rr.com>

Hi, everyone.

I got my ESL certification about 1 1/2 years ago. I've just been subbing since then, since I haven't been able to find a job yet. However, it looks like a job opportunity for me has finally come. Any suggestions as to how I go back and review/remember/refresh with what I learned back in college? I will be teaching ESL to kindergarteners, 1st graders, and 2nd graders. Most of them do not know any English, whatsoever. What methods, games, activities, etc. would you suggest I start with to teach non-English speakers? Since I'm just starting out in my career, I would appreciate any help or advice I can get. Thanks much. --BRETT--
