Learning to teach
By:Adam McCambridge <akmccambridge@yahoo.com>

Hello everyone, I have been living in Japan for a little over 5 years now and have recently started a small conversational English class with my Japanese doctor and some of his interns. I had my first class today and have agreed to teach for an hour every Saturday. Today, for the most part I just sort of shot from the hip and talked. I know they learned a little but I am at a loss for what to teach and how to present it. I would really prefer to have more structure and orginization to my teaching. But, due to the fact that I am new to this, I am not sure where to start.
