In Response To: English phonics video curriculum (Lori)

What I do is to search a short video in Youtube done by native English speakers. It could be from kids stories to sports and political news, or interviews (artists, singers...). I watch the video and make questions about it, depending on the level of the student. It could be to describe what the person wears and the feelings she/he shows, the room or place where she/he is, etc. But if they have a higher level of the language, it can be focused on new vocabulary and the actual situation described.
The first thing is to get the information about the video, then the material to be search, then the actual watching of it. The good thing is that they can watch it several times, and they get to catch the normal pronunciation of the speakers.
