My recommendation is to make sure you are prepared, and have reviewed the material you plan to teach. Also, it is important to make the learning fun, i.e. use visuals, and have the students be active participants in the lesson. Doing a role play activity is a great way to get to know your students' areas of strengths and weaknesses.
