The best advice I can give you is to use lots of Total Physical Response activities with your students. Have them engage in actual body movements, i.e. show me the door, the sink, window, close the door, open the door, etc. Also, use lots of visuals, i.e. pictures, as well as music (Greg and Steve Songs work great!) with this age population.
