Guangdong Baiyun University (previously Guangdong Baiyun Vocational Technical College), founded in 1989, is one of the first two private higher education institutions of Guangdong Province approved by the National Ministry of Education to award Bachelor Degrees.

Guangdong Baiyun University, with a clean and quiet environment, is located in the beautiful "Flower City" of Guangzhou, in the province of Guangdong, just 3 hours from Hong Kong and Macao. This location provides easy access to some of the most diversified educational, manufacturing, cultural and entertainment facilities in China. The campus covers 300,000 square meters with building space in excess of 276,000 square meters.

Over the past 18 years, we have formed a full-time university of applied technology, with engineering as its core specialty. We have also developed specialties such as science, arts, economics, and administration. We offer a group of national approved and industry recognized 4-year degree and 3-year diploma programs (see Academics). A dedicated management team, a full-time teaching and research staff including foreign instructors in excess of 700 support the presidents in maintaining the quality of education addressing the needs of more than 10,000 students.

Guangdong Baiyun University has established cooperative relations with over 1,000 enterprises in the Pearl River Delta, and has cooperative relationships with over 20 universities and educational institutions in USA, UK, Germany, Australia, Canada, France, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao etc. In addition, Guangdong Baiyun University is an accredited institution of Edexcel International, UK.
