Harbin University of Commerce (HUC) was established in 1952, which is the first multi-disciplinary commercial university in China. HUC is also one of ten university of “the fifteenth” construction projects in Heilongjiang Province. It is located in the famous north city — Harbin, which has the four obvious season. It consists of two campuses that cover over 11,317,00m2.

The university lays stress on undergraduate education, positively develops postgraduate education, and stabilizes the advanced vocational education and continual education. HUC comprises 16 colleges and 2 teaching departments, which covers seven disciplines: Economics, Management, Engineering, Science, Law, humanities, Medicine; offering 39 bachelor-degree programs. In addition, HUC also offers several second bachelor’s degrees: Business management, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, International Economy and Trade, Law, Computer Science and Technology, and some auxiliary curriculums: Accounting, Marketing, Business Management, Computer Science &Technology.

It has established international exchange and cooperation with Thames Valley University, Leeds University and Napier the University in the UK to raise undergraduate course and master studies project; the university also raises the bachelor's degree talented person project jointly with Schiller International University in the USA, with Australian Victoria University and Japanese fisheries University, the Okayama university sends the teacher mutually and trains master degree project jointly. The Foreign Chinese Language Training Center, the Overseas Study Service Center, the CN 121 BEC Examination Center approved by the Ministry of Education and the Training & Examination Center of ATC authorized by the Microsoft Company are all attached to HUC.
