The CIE, a self-financing unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University managed by the School of Continuing Education, offers a two-year full-time Associate Degree Course on campus to serve the diversified needs of post-secondary school students. Through a broad-based and innovative curriculum, the CIE aims to develop the full range of abilities of students and equip them either for employment or for continued study in local or overseas universities.

The College of International Education at HKBU offers a holistic, flexible, learner-based education in an atmosphere that nurtures the individual on a campus that provides every advantage of university life. Full time lecturers in the College also serve as mentors for students throughout the course.

The College offers students a true campus life, with rich resources including libraries, counselling centre, job placement centre, resource centre, technical labs, health services, sports facilities and hostel. Students enjoy being able to join university societies and clubs and students develop their leadership skills through participating in the activities organized by the College and University.
