Wendy’s is a reputable English language training center in central Shiyan, Hubei Province. The school was founded in 2003 and has since been providing quality English tuition to children aged five to seventeen years.

Teaching Ideals
Wendy’s is a progressive school dedicated to providing effective tuition to the children of Shiyan. We keep a constant eye on the changing landscape of modern teaching methods and continue to advance our own unique teaching model. This model can be characterized by certain key elements:
• Firstly, we realize the importance of providing the correct class size. For effective learning students need to form an attentive relationship with the teacher which is not possible in large classes.
• Secondly, we carefully select textbooks and course materials to fit the wide range of ages and abilities we encounter. We use quality textbooks which include Young Learners (4-7), Super kids (6-10), Cambridge (9-13) and New Concept (12-17).
• Thirdly, we encourage our students to have, not only a strong foundation in English, but to communicate fluently with confidence and cultural awareness.
• Lastly, and most importantly, we know how to keep children interested in English. We aim to keep our lessons active, practical and informative. This not only helps the child to absorb English and use it confidently, it means that English can be fun! – Our students are always commenting on how much they enjoy coming to Wendy’s.

Teachers
At Wendy’s we employ a mixture of local and foreign English teachers. This means that children can benefit from the ‘real English’ spoken by the foreign teacher. At the same time, our local teachers interact with foreigners every day which provides our staff with an environment of high quality English which is again transferred to the students. Our teachers are young, friendly, well qualified, and open to novel ideas. Our teachers have a tradition of sharing views and experience with in order to progress as a team. All our foreign teachers are carefully selected from native English speaking countries such as Britain, USA, Canada, and Australia.
