Travel, Teach, Live in China

You hit the nail right on the head.
By:Michael Bull <ttmbull@hotmail.com>

I have been here just over 2 and a half years, and I can tell you I have met my share of dodgy employeers as well. In the first 3 months i was ready to pack it in.....I was tired of being lied to and tired of all the extra crap that wasn't disclosed to me when in Canada......like colouring cartoon pictures for hours at a time......and having to travel all over god's green earth to get from one school to another.....I was actually teaching in 3 different cities and had 2 apartments for those 3 months.

Dispite the initial hardships, I was determined that China must have some good employers here somewhere. Finally I have found one that respects me and my quirks and I respect him and his.....and for the last 2 years I have been very happy here in China.......in fact I have no plan to leave....it's it really a great country once you give it a chance.....and like the original post....everything Dos has said I would have to agree with completly.......take his advice and you will have a great deal more insight than I had coming here..........Good luck and welcome to China..................Mike.
