Recruiters in China
By:Dos, Teacher in china - Thread Jan 2005

Teacher in china -- 21 January 2005

Please,is there anyone who has worked for a recruiter in China called Fronk Zhang!

I 'd like to get some advice, before I sign a contract he's just offered me. After my brief dealings with him, I feel something is not quite right.Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

This is not a joke! It's a serious posting!

I haven't used a recruiter to find a job in China, (you really don't need to!!) but I have read many many many many many posts about recuiters on various sites. I can't remember ready any good ones.

I have only had one experience with a recruiter we used to get a holiday teacher, and he didn't pay the teacher after the work was done, though the school paid *him* up-front. TEFL.CC was involved somewhere in the loop on that one I think.

That doesn't mean to say there isn't a good one out there, but judging by the gazillions of bad posts they are rarer than a one legged man in a kicking contest...

Avoid Yakup and Tefl.cc and *never* send any money or original documents seem to be about the best advice I can give you...
Luck, you will need it.
