The Aston English Schools in Jinan are one place to check out. I worked there for a year and found it to be a rewarding experience. One perk is that the majority of the teachers for the three schools live in the same apartment building. It helps build a sense of community, which is very helpful if you would happen to be a newbie to China.

In addition, these schools are well managed. No school is perfect, nor can it please everyone all the time, but the Jinan Aston locations do a very good job of looking after their people, both western and Chinese.
