There is so much info here with regards to visa's but I can't seem to find anything (well recent anyway) about my question. I would really appreciate some advice if anyone knows the answer or correct procedure.

I am currently working for a large language school chain in Shanxi Province. My contract will finish at the end of September, but my Z visa expires in March 2007. As far as I am aware, the school needs to cancel my Z visa and issue me with a tourist visa at this time.

I was offered a position by another school within the chain in Hangzhou. This offer has however, been withdrawn as they say they cannot get me a z visa because I do not have a degree. I was hoping that there was a way for the Z visa to be converted or amended to the 2nd province. Does anyone know if this is possible or what the best way to go about this is?
