I am a USA citizen and newly TESOL certified after raising children that are on their own now. I want to make sure I take the right position to begin my new career and cultual experience. I have researched Hainan Island and especially the city of Sanya...and feel this is the particular area I would like to teach and learn (I am also studying the holistic of the Orient as a yogi and personal trainer and want to help with the poverty stricken if time permits). It has been difficult to find many schools on the internet in Hainan...especially in Sanya. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone shares about schools, their reputations, about the people and their culture that is different from the rest of China, the cost of living compared to the mainland and just how bad those monsoons and mosquitos are..haha..plus, what kind of contracts and pay is to be expected from Hainan.
