Hi, My name is Steve and I have been working for Ms. Fan for over two months at her school. She has lied to me, cheated me, stolen from me, and yesterday she stole over a quarter of my salary by not paying it to me. When you arrive she will put you up in a hotel of hers, then get you a furnished apartment. It's not furnished at all, and it is the worst living conditions I've ever lived in. I had to sign four contracts and then when I said I was going to leave she promised to extend my ticket, which she couldn't do. It's been a constant battle every week with her. She doesn't pay on time. You have to fight her for every little thing. She doesn't try to teach you how to teach, and just throws you in the school teaching thousands of kids. I will have to leave now and somehow find a way to pay for it because she took a quarter of my salary, but I warn anyone and everyone reading this. She is a cheat and a liar, so BEWARE. If you do come, ask the other foreign teachers about her. She even took my translator away from me, and I couldn't eat for a while because I can't read or speak Chinese. It's been the worst experience of my life, so please be warned. Don't work for her. Her husband is the one who actually has the school in his name, but she runs it. She'll tell you she likes you, and smile at you, but she'll stab you in the back at every chance she gets. It's been constant.
