Xiuwen Academy is a cash cow disguised as a school. The owner, Xiuwen Wang, is more or a used car salesman than an educator.He is not a bad man, just more concerned with his profits than education. His right hand woman at the school, Helen, is an slow witted imbecile who wants to change the curriculum every two weeks if one parent complains that their child is not happy. It is all about pleasing the parents and putting on a show with the foreign teachers on center stage. Add to that teaching Chinese children is no picnic, but they are less trouble than the adults here. So avoid this place if you want to maintain your sanity. If you do apply, here is a test to verify the honesty of the staff. Ask for the e-mail of the only foreign teacher that was at the school the entire school year. If they give you an address other than the one you see above, it is a lie. Plain and simple.
