I have a residence visa in my passport. It expires june 30th when my contract with my school expires. I want to go to Tibet before returning home so will need to stay till July 30th. Anybody know about the possibility, costs and procedures for pulling this off.
Will not want to discuss with the school as they will just lie and tell me what I want to hear to keep me till end of the school term. The FAO doen't give a rats ass if I ever get to Tibet, but he DOES know that this trip is more important to me than this job

Anyone know - what is the fine for showing up at the airport with an expired visa, can't be all that bad especially if I show up pennyless as well!!

Hope someone can shed some light on this. I plan to drop by the PSB in a few days to inquire but I assume that their English iwill be about as good as my Chinese, so you could hardly describe me as "hopeful"
