The Modern Paradise Called Noosa
By:Bei Maniago

Noosa is one of the world’s best paradise spots but is never too far from modern facilities and infrastructures. Wide stretches of golden sand allow a variety of activities to be performed. The blue endless horizon makes you think that this is perhaps the farthest part of the world’s paradise. Then you visit the hotels, shopping centres, and restaurants and learn that this paradise is as modern as your city back home. A visit to the Noosa National Park will once again have you affirming that this is indeed heaven on earth.

These striking contrasts make all tourists on a Noosa holiday enjoy their vacation more. Take your pick from the many choices that Noosa can offer. A tranquil day at the beach or a picnic by the coast is easy to experience. You can go swimming in the warm waters or just lie at the beach and get a golden tan. Scuba diving will allow you to experience the beautiful panorama under the sea as well as the exotic marine species that swim and dart around. Fishing is also allowed in here.

Noosa accommodation can offer you the peacefulness and simplicity that you could be looking for without sacrificing modern perks such as hot-and-cold showers and cable television for a more relaxed Noosa holiday. There are also a lot of resorts around Noosa that have golf courses for those who are enthusiastic of the sport. The resorts also have swimming pools for those who want to stay out of the sun for a while. Moreover, these Noosa resorts provide the best Noosa accommodation, so you might choose them as alternative to hotels and apartments.

Attractions to Visit

There are a lot of beautiful tourist attractions around Noosa. Try to visit as many as you can in one day. The Australian Zoo is well-known for its exotic animals and crocodile demonstration. Also, lectures about the animals that live in the zoo are done at certain days, and you might want to listen to those. There are more than 600 animals to see in the zoo, and perhaps it will take you the whole day to tour around the vicinity. This would not be a problem, though, as the food court has a lot of stalls that sell a variety of food items.

A good place to include in your Noosa itinerary is the Sunshine Castle at Bli Bli. This castle is not a real one but a mock replica that includes a dungeon and tower block. This is also the famous home of more than 350 dancing dolls from all over the world.

You might also want to visit the Great Sandy National Park, which features the exciting Everglades. The waters at the Everglades were dyed by the tea trees around it so that it sparkles black in the sunshine and reflects the surrounding scenery in a surprisingly beautiful way. There are canoes for the more adventurous tourists, which they can use if they want to navigate the river inside the park. Picnic and barbecue zones can also be found inside.
