Escape From the Stresses of Urban Living in Noosa Australia
By:Sidney Morgan

The Sunshine Coast is known as the crowning glory of the Queensland Coast. If the Sunshine Coast is the crown, then Noosa is the jewel in the crown. Noosa leaves nothing to be desired. It is an unbeatable mix of the casual beachlover's lifestyle in a world class resort. To add to its charm, this coastal resort is in a pristine natural setting.

Everybody enjoys a holiday on the bustling Gold Coast of Queensland, but after awhile, you may begin to long for a beach resort that moves at a slower, more tropical pace. Someone tells you about a place less than 2 hours away that has all the luxuries you could ask for, but lacks only the crowds of the Gold Coast. You decide to check it out. If you're like most first time visitors to Noosa, you will stay longer than you intended to. You won't be able to help yourself.

Your first day in Noosa might be spent on Hastings Street in Noosa Heads. Hastings Street is the beachside shopping and dining street in Noosa. It's the perfect place to go for a lunch or cappuccino in a beachside cafe. After a refreshing meal, you will be ready to do some serious shopping in the upscale Hastings Street boutiques, galleries and gift shops.

The following day is a good day to get outside and get some exercise. This is easily done in Noosa. Noosa and Noosa Heads are divided by the beautiful Noosa National Park. The main walking trail in the park is suitable for all levels of fitness and the overhanging branches of the trees means that you will be enjoying your walk in the cool of the shade. If you want to, though, you can take a detour and bask in the sun and take a dip in the azure waters in one of the sheltered coves along the way.

Just for a change, have lunch along the Noosa River today: you can always go back to Hastings Street tomorrow? Afterwards, you can take a leisurely boat ride and explore the river or relax at Pelican Beach. If you're looking for something to get your adrenaline pumping, you can find that in Noosa, too. If you're a surfer, you probably already know about the classic point breaks in Noosa National Park, but you may not know about the secret spots up around Cooloola National Park. If you're not a surfer (or even if you are), you might want to explore the region by camel back. What a great way to see the sights!

If you're looking for highrises and mega-developments, then Noosa may disappoint you. If you're looking for luxurious boutique hotels, resorts and spas, though, then you will absolutely love it. Even the inexpensive backpackers lodges in Noosa are a cut above the rest. When you stay in Noosa, your Noosa accommodation will be something special, no matter what your budget is or preferences are. Next time you're in Queensland, step away from the pack and get to know Noosa. You'll love it.
