A two-week summer program designed to help high-school students from around the world develop critical thinking and self-expression. Using proven leadership communication and debate techniques, coupled with English-language support, participants learn to thrive in a multicultural setting.
Set on the Barnard College Campus at Columbia University in New York City, with campus visits to seven top colleges, our summer program helps prepare students to excel both in their education and in the careers that follow.
Objectives of the Forum
Students:
Learn to express themselves clearly, logically, and forcefully in speaking and writing
Acquire ability to listen and respond effectively to others
Gain self-confidence in a multicultural setting
Meet and make friends from around the world
Improve their oral and written English levels
Experience the fun of real US college campus life
Go on campus tours of selected colleges, including Harvard, Columbia, and Amherst
Meet Admissions Committee members from top US colleges and universities
Visit Wall Street, Broadway, United Nations, and much more
Develop the presence and confidence to be better prepared for continued academic and career success.
