I am very excited about our renewed partnership now that we can pay Service Fees to agents! Because many of our agents have actively started sending applications to us, I thought I would send you a reminder of some important items:

UCSC Extension professional certificate programs are open to international students and are located in the heart of Silicon Valley, which is renowned as the world center of cutting edge IT innovation, the economic powerhouse of global business, and the dreamland for entrepreneurs.

The region is home to many of the world's largest technology corporations. Silicon Valley continues to be the leading hub for high-tech development, accounting for one-third of all of the venture capital investment in the United States.

The University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) is one of 10 campuses within the prestigious University of California system, one of the nation’s premier public institutions of higher education. The University of California has one of the most highly regarded systems of education in the world.

Extension is proud to offer more than 40 cutting-edge certificate programs in the fields of Engineering & Technology, Biosciences, Business & Management, and Education. Our programs include:

Computer Programming
Database and Data Analytics
Project and Program Management
Clinical Trials Design and Management
Early Childhood Education

UCSC Extension is authorized to issue I-20 forms for initial entry, transfer, reinstatement and change of status applications for international students. After you complete your studies, you can gain work experience in a relevant company by applying for Optional Practical Training (OPT). OPT is available to students who have maintained their student status for one academic year (nine months) and successfully completed a certificate program. With OPT authorization, students can supplement their high-quality education with a year of work experience in Silicon Valley.
