Date: 7 July 2014

Educational and Cultural Interactions (ECI) is welcoming new students to the Oklahoma City, OK and Dallas, TX areas. ECI began in 1996 with a campus in Oklahoma City and has since expanded with a second campus in Dallas, TX. Both campuses are fully accredited through The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) and the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET)

The curriculum at ECI is academic. Our learning outcomes prepare international students to function successfully in American Universities. The curriculum is based on twelve levels:

• Beginning 1
• Beginning 2
• Beginning 3
• Beginning 4
• Intermediate 1
• Intermediate 2
• Intermediate 3
• Intermediate 4
• Advanced 1
• Advanced 2
• Advanced 3
• Advanced 4

It is a unique curriculum based on the integrated classes (every morning from 9am to12 noon) Monday through Friday, complimented with academic elective courses (1pm-3:30pm) Monday through Thursday. Among our academic courses we offer:

o Composition 1 and 2
o Essay Writing
o Word Building
o Research paper writing
o Academic Vocabulary
o Reading Comprehension
o Listening and Speaking
o TOEFL/IELTS Preparatory course

Students are placed in their adequate level after being administered the placement test. During the course of studies, students are administered external standardized tests such as Michigan Placement Test and TOEFL ITP.

The levels are taught in sessions. Each session is four weeks long and provides 100 hours of instruction (25 hours per week). Tuition is $1200 per session. The commission of the recruiting agent is $300 per student per session. There is an application fee of $250 paid once and a book fee of $50 per session.

ECI Program is recognized by several universities, thus students who complete ECI Program (at the highest advanced level: ESL 304) will have the opportunity to enroll in their undergraduate studies without taking the IELTS/TOEFL exam at the following universities:

• LeTourneau University in Longview & Dallas, TX
• Texas Wesleyan University in Ft. Worth, TX
• St. Edwards University in Austin, TX
• Goshen College in Goshen, IN
