The Jefferson Institute of Virginia is a boutique English language institute in the historic city of Charlottesville, also the home of the University of Virginia and Monticello, the home of the third president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson. Our institute is named after this president because of his love of learning and creating the right environment for it. The owner of the Jefferson Institute spent twenty years in Saudi Arabia teaching English to the employees of some well-known oil companies and has returned to the US to start his own business. We would like to reach out to prospective students in other countries so that all of our classes have a good mix of nationalities and cultures. If you are an agent or an education consultant in another country, we would love to have you represent our institute. We offer six levels of English, preparation for the TOEFL and short courses for our corporate clients. We also offer a summer program for high school students who are considering enrolling at an American university. All of our students have the option of staying with a host family while attending classes at the institute for maximum safety and good home-cooked food!
