ECONOMIC TEACHER POSITION IN BEIJING - INTERNATIONAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT

WHO IS US?

BLIA opened in impressive new purpose-built accommodation in September 2005 and enrolled the first students on its English A level programme at the same time. This programme is aimed at Chinese students who wish to apply to study at university in the UK or other English-speaking countries. The academy’s ‘parent’ school, Beijing Luhe High School, is a very famous, prestigious and highly achieving school within the Chinese school system and has a number of longstanding international links.

WHERE IS THE LOCATION?

Beijing is one of the world’s great cities, with a number of iconic world-renowned sites, including the Great Wall of China, Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace.

School is based in Tongzhou. There is plenty of modern, well-built accommodation and facilities like a large Carrefour supermarket, Wanda Plaza, a very famous shopping Mall, houses various shopping outlets, a multiplex cinema and the Wal-Mart, and a Universal Studio, the largest one in the world, is being built that will be open in 2019.

WHO IS OUR POTENTIAL CANDIDATE?

Native English teachers.
Have experience in teaching A level/AP business and economics.
Have a BA in Economics or related majors.

WHAT IS THE POSITION?

Economic Teacher.
Start date: August 2019.
You will teach Economics for high school students.
You will help your students prepare for their International Exams to attend to universities in the UK based on IGCSE Business/ IGCSE economics curriculum.
You will work from Monday to Friday (7:30am - 12pm & 1:30pm - 5pm).
You will teach 20 - 26 classes per week, but still can be flexible when there is no class.
You will teach for 25 students per class and each class lasts for 40 minutes.

Competitive salary: 18,000 - 25,000 RMB (after tax).
